His Excellency Dr. Alasmi obtained his Doctorate degree in Curricula and Instruction from West Virginia University, USA. He held various positions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, most notably: Vice Minister of Education, President of Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University, membership of the Shura Council at the 4th and 5th sessions, Director of Education in al-Kharj, and Assistant-General for Educational Research.
H.E. Alasmi also headed, and was a member of, several councils and educational and development committees in public and higher education, and the local community in the Kingdom. He co-authored school curricula, and a number of studies and worksheets on teacher professional formation and training of educational employers, in addition to assessing the educational process in many aspects.
