In response to the request of the Director of the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) Paris, H.E. Humaid Mohamed Al Qutami MOE Minister & RCEP GB Chairperson approved hosting the participants of the Advanced Training Program (ATP) in study visit to UAE for seven days scheduled to be convened between 15 -22 April 2013. The study visit schedule was prepared in collaboration between MOE & RCEP included visiting some schools and higher education institutions e.g. Zayed University, Sharjah University, Sharjah American University and the Institute for Applied Technology. The study visit field trips will be preceded by power point presentation on Monday 15.04.2013 at RCEP to be delivered by UAE MOE Departments, UAE Cabinet of Ministers, Abu Dhabi educational council, Sharjah educational council & RAK educational zone.
Then after the ATP participant will have a tour or field trips to the schools & educational institutes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah.
The ATP participants are to focus on:
• Conducting a thorough analysis of UAE education system to explore the successes and challenges.
• Study to what extend the UAE education system is contributing to the success of the socio-economic plans.
Monday 22.04.2013 will be geared to the evaluative report to be delivered by the ATP participants on UAE educational status.
