General Objectives: The workshop discusses the complementary relationship between monitoring and evaluation in educational plans through the differences between the best international practices and individual experiences in the participating countries. The most important objectives of the workshop are:
- Strengthen the technical skills of participants in monitoring and evaluation in terms of their components, frameworks and institutional arrangements.
- Expand the participants' knowledge of strategies which are applied in neighboring countries.
- Exposing participants to international standards and best practices to refine the monitoring and evaluation process in the education sector plans.
Content - Evolutionary concepts of monitoring and evaluation.
- Monitoring and evaluation as part of the process for the strategic planning cycle.
- Results-based monitoring and evaluation process.
- The necessary institutional structure
- Selection of key performance indicators KPI to monitor and evaluate educational sector plans.
