Type of Activity: Policy Dialogue Project (Regional Interactive Workshop) Project Name: Policies and Strategies for Measuring Education Quality in the GCC Countries Field: Knowledge Dissemination Organizing Agency: Regional Center for Educational Planning and Quality and Excellence Center in Riyadh. Implementing Agency: Regional Center for Educational Planning. General Objective: Strengthening communication and strengthening the network of institutional relations between institutions and ministries concerned with education at the local, regional and global levels, and making recommendations that impact effectively on the development of educational systems to overcome the challenges facing these systems in the development process.

Content (Timeline):
First day 14/2/2015 Introduction of policies and strategies for measuring the education quality in the GCC countries.Each country to present its current policies and practices, and methods of quality measurement for discussion and dialogue. The second day 15/12/2015 will discuss the development mechanisms with the help of experts and specialists in the interactive workshop, followed by documentation of papers and dialogue activities in the form of publications and electronic discs.

Target group:
1. The Ministry's undersecretaries for educational planning, information, and human resources development. 2. Specialists in research and educational curricula, measurement, evaluation and quality control
